Birth Doulas

As you embark on life’s biggest adventure, we believe you deserve the highest level of care and guidance. The East River Doula Collective is a team of experienced, reliable, compassionate doulas who provide the support you need for a safe and empowering birth experience. Birth doula support typically includes 1-2 prenatal visits, ongoing communication as desired, being on-call 24/7 as your due date nears, virtual and/or in-person labor support, backup coverage, and an optional but recommended postpartum visit. Some doulas provide additional offerings as a package or add-on options such as prenatal yoga, placenta encapsulation, postpartum meals, etc.

PRICING: Birth doula packages currently range from $2,000–$3,750 (some of the doulas may be able to consider a need-based sliding scale or if this is cost prohibitive, let us know and we can give you the contact information for some of the doulas who've gone through our mentorship program and may have a lower price point).

We recommend inquiring with your insurance or HSA/FSA provider to see if some or all of the cost of doula services (or birth classes) can be reimbursed (more info on this on our FAQ page).
