Mentorship
If you're a new(ish) and trained doula, our mentorship program might be a great fit for you.

Referrals - East River Doula Collective receives lots of inquiries for birth and postpartum support, and we are happy to recommend our mentees and offer them support along the way whenever we can't accommodate a request from within our membership
Requirements:

Doula training needs to be completed before applying for our mentorship (certification not required)

Candidates need to be on board with our values (you will be asked to both explicitly verbally confirm in an interview and sign a mentorship agreement to this effect)

Ideal candidate:
-
Desires to be actively engaged and learning in community with other doulas (both in Zooms and Whatsapp as well as the occasional in-person meetup)

Will be available to attend our Zoom Q&As on most or all scheduled times (for fall 2023 cohort, will be roughly every other Wednesday @ 10am EST (and a couple of Tuesdays); optional mentor office hours will be roughly every other Tuesday @ 10am (in the off weeks from Q&As, so a couple of Wednesdays)

$159/month for 6 months ($954) ~or~ $899 flat fee

BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ discounted rate: $139/month for 6 months ($834) ~or~ $799 flat fee

Process:

Complete application (deadline for fall program was Sept 8, 2023 but we can consider late applicants)

In mid-September, we'll be in touch with selected applicants to conduct interviews
